I DESERVE A T-SHIRT.

when i was little, my family and i went to universal studios for the first time. at this WOMG AWESOME theme park (my thoughts of it at the time), jurassic park was my favorite ride (pre-rollercoaster phobia). i loved it so much i rode it 5 fucking times in a row, bitchesss. but during the last one, i bit my lip so hard it started bleeding. because of this, my mom believed i deserved a shirt saying “I SURVIVED JURASSIC PARK THE RIDE” because i kept crying.

well, college has started and with college comes the HELLLAAA cool welcome week. club fairs = those damn christians (or protestants – PROPS TO HAZEL) + cultural clubs + frats and sororities. but the best part of it was the SAOSIN CONCERT WOOT WOOT. i really like saosin, but since indie is my first and only love, i wanted to go to see the jakes and william tell. THE JAKES ESPECIALLY. the jakes = WOMG NEW LOVERS. i even bought their cd after they went on because i couldn’t find any of their songs on limewire – that makes 9 cds i ever bought in my entire life (backstreet boys, westlife, n*sync (teehee do you like how i did the * thing ;D), 2 of britney spears’ cds, dido, maroon 5’s first album, hot hot heat – elevator, AND FINALLY THE JAKESSS). yeah. they’re worth it. i got to see them after william tell (whom i appreciate and like a lot more because of awesome live performance) performed and during…. WELL. DURING THIS.

so my friend jon lin was basically advising me about how i had to push people and try not to 1. get killed, crushed, stomped, etc. and 2. not to break the cd when saosin came on. why? i asked. because it’s saosin. PAUSE. THIS IS THE FIRST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. AND I DON’T THINK BAND CONCERTS COUNT BTW. so me, with my tank, jeans, and my new pair of rainbows that i wore for the first time ever, had anything to worry about. i mean. how hard could they possibly push, right? HOLY SHIT. as soon as saosin came out, i threw away all the chances of jon lin’s number one advice to get fulfilled (well, minus getting killed). pushing, squishing, and swaying side to side as if we were going to fall were only a few of the perks of a MOSH PIT. we almost fell to the left, we almost fell to the right, and when we almost fell back that’s when it happened. I LOST MY RIGHT RAINBOW. seeing as i was in desperate need of an exit plan, i practically crawled my way out of the depths of CHAOS only to meet a huge 5 foot radius between normal people and the mosh pit. not awkward at all -_-”. anyways i hop to the back and for the rest of the night, i end up standing on my left foot because i didn’t want to get worms :(

that didn’t ruin my night though. i got to stand about ten feet away from the jakes’ frontman and another band member and enjoy singing along to those catchy saosin songs with lyrics that don’t even make sense. at the end of the concert, i eventually retrieved my HELLLAAA DIRTY rainbow from the front by then fence. apparently many people had lost their slippers too, so i didn’t feel thaaaat bad.

the best part? i didn’t break the cd :)

this is my new phone :)

there’s this REALLY REALLY CUTE HELLO KITTY CELL PHONE CHARM that i just bought today. but i can’t find a pic and i am wayyy too lazy to search harder for one. so basically, there are tons of pros and cons to it, but overall i love it. so, thinking this was a normal phone, i thought, like all phones, oh yeah i can just shove this keychain strap thing into one of the two holes found at the bottom of my phone to attach it. but noooo i discovered that the string was going nowhere and i needed to open the battery pack to hook it. good i thought since my keychain things usually break. oh, how wrong i was. the back of this phone is slanted, so sliding out the battery pack is close to impossible. it’s so hard i had to google it and found that everyone else who has this phone is having ultra difficulty too. it’s so hard i broke my nail and scratched the back of my phone twice. damn. this phone. but damn, that cell phone charm is hellllla cute :)

p.s. how does the title relate to my blog? hiatus = silent mode on my phone :)
